School Services: Healthy Students Learn Better
United Neighborhood Health Services began its first school-based comprehensive health clinic in a school in 1994. It has been demonstrated that healthy students learn better, have more regular attendance patterns and have better academic performance. Adolescents often do not have a regular medical home. They do not receive the health care and health information that can help them make decisions.
